Entry Process

1. REVIEW GUIDELINES AND SELECT CATEGORY
Review 2024 Awards Guidelines and determine the Awards Category appropriate to the size and nature of your business, or your individual role.

2. SUBMISSIONS

Organizations must provide a submission per category entered, and including supporting documentation (charts, tables, and graphics). Deadline submission for the annual PBIA Excellence Awards is on April 30, 2024.

3. NOTIFYING FINALISTS

Finalists will be selected and notified mid-May.

4. SITE VISITS FOR FINALISTS

Finalist site visits, or RingCentral Meeting sessions, will be completed by a member of the PBIA Awards judging committee prior to early June 2024.

5. ANNOUNCING WINNERS

Annual winners will be publicly announced on June 28th.

The Judging Committee consists of representative senior business people actively involved in the pharmacy benefits management profession. The key stages that the national judging committee undertakes in the evaluation process for each category are to:

  • Evaluate Submissions: Members of the Judging Committee evaluate the submissions and select the finalists for each category.
  • Conduct Site Visits/Telephone Interviews: Organizations, teams and projects are evaluated with an on-site visit. Nominees for individual awards are evaluated with a structured telephone interview.
  • The Judging Committee will select the winners in January following the year an award is earned.
